LaShawn M. Wanak
LaShawn M. Wanak is a female African-American speculative fiction writer. She has had short stories published in Daybreak Magazine (to promote Shine: an anthology of optimistic science fiction) and Ideomancer. Currently, she’s working on her first fantasy novel.
A graduate of the 2007 Clarion Writing Workshop, Keyan Bowes is a peripatetic author of speculative fiction whose work has appeared in Strange Horizons, Big Pulp, Ruthless Peoples Magazine, and IROSF. Keyan maintains a website at www.keyanbowes.org and is currently working on two novels for teenagers.
Mia Tijam’s most recent story “Heart In The Flesh” was printed in Philippine Speculative Fiction Volume Five (edited by Nikki Alfar and Vincent Simbulan) and her story “Spelling Normal” first published by Estranghero Press was included in Charles Tan’s Best of Philippine Speculative Fiction 2009. She is also part of Sais, a graphic collection of six-word-stories edited by Adam David, and her story The Ascension of Our Lady Boy is slated for podcasting in Pakinggan Pilipinas.
